Gayane Sureni:
The Armenian soprano Gayané Sureni studied classical singing, jazz and Armenian folk music in Armenia. There she was active as a soloist with various ensembles. She gives many concerts in Germany. She was invited as a singer to the Vatican to perform at a church service. She is active as a soloist with various ensembles at home and abroad and at festivals. Gayané Sureni has been working with the music group "Alamto" since 2014. In the same year, this fruitful collaboration led to a successful performance at the Bardentreffen world music festival in Nuremberg. Gayané Sureni and Iranian percussionist Hadi Alizadeh have been performing successfully as a duo since 2015. In 2017, they won the Creole Festival Bayern with their duo project.
